Robert has an intuitive and well honed ability to read a room and establish and encourage a safe, aware, and respectful work environment. In addition to his ample work on projects containing a diversity of intimate circumstances, Robert continuously educates himself on the most contemporary and productive approaches to trauma informed intimacy direction and coordination. His focus is to generate an environment of creative collaboration though understood communication and consent.

Robert has directed, choreographed and coordinated intimate movement and staged intimate violence for award-winning films, theatre productions and internationally acclaimed opera houses. Incorporating communication practices,
text analysis and theme, acting, dance, physical awareness, martial arts and his training in mental health awareness and trauma to build and generate honest moments of character and story for stage and screen. His work has received rave reviews by the New York Times, New York Magazine, Variety, Newsday, Opera News and many others.
